How did you feel before you started your fitness journey?
I felt lost. I lacked confidence and didn’t have a good relationship with exercise or food.
How do you feel now? Has that feeling changed?
I have gained so much confidence through my sessions! I have learnt so much that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I now absolutely love exercise and it had become a key part of my weekly routine. I also have a better relationship with food.
Was there anything that worried you about signing up for Personal Training?
I struggled a bit with anxiety in the gym. After having had a personal trainer my confidence levels have increased so much!
Why did you choose GBPT as your coach?
I chose Georgia because I felt like I could relate to her. She seemed similar to me and was very friendly. When I was starting my sessions, I wanted a female coach.
What was your Personal Training experience like? What did you achieve?
My experience was great. I gained confidence, knowledge, drive, experience and a friend in my coach. I feel like I have achieved so much since having a trainer and I never thought I’d be in this position. I have lost over a stone now and toned up. I think my biggest achievement is toning up my back and straightening my scoliosis scar (something I never thought was possible!).
How has your life changed by doing Personal Training? What are the biggest changes that you have seen?
Definitely confidence levels. Before having a trainer I was too scared to train in the free weights section of the gym. Now I don’t even think twice about it, everyone is just focusing on themselves. I have never felt healthier!
Would you recommend GBPT?
Absolutely! She is amazing. Really takes the time to tailor your workouts and takes any feedback on board. She also pushed me when she knew I could do better which was very important. We always had a laugh during our sessions (both in the gym and our outdoor PT sessions in lockdown!)
What would you say to someone thinking of starting training with GBPT?
GO FOR IT! It’s the best thing I have ever done.
How did you feel before you started your fitness journey?
I felt quite anxious and reluctant to start, in addition to feeling completely lost on where I'd even start: which was one of the main reasons I sought out a PT in the first place.
How do you feel now? Has that feeling changed?
Now all my reservations seemed a bit silly in hindsight; I enjoy working out, and it's even become one of the highlights of my week where I get to destress and focus on something else. It's generally improved my confidence, as well as my life generally, since the confidence I've gained from the gym has been applied elsewhere.
Why did you choose GBPT as your coach?
I chose GBPT because she was advertised on my local gym's webpage, and I really liked the overall vibe in the ad/correspondences I've had before starting with her. She gave off a very friendly and encouraging first impression which really made it easier to start. In addition to this, her sessions were reasonably priced, which was super important for me as a student.
What was your personal training experience like?
Georgia's been amazing. Looking back on my experience, I'm so glad I took that first step and emailed her- starting a workout routine under her guidance has been transformative. She's been very encouraging, and really facilitated my confidence to grow during the sessions.
How has your life changed by doing personal training?
It's been amazing- it got me into a solid routine and kept me accountable, which in turn made working out less like a daunting chore, and more a normal part of my life. In addition to the mental changes, I've noticed I've toned up and clothes that didn't fit me before are fitting me comfortably.
Would you recommend GBPT? And what would you say to someone thinking of signing up?
Definitely! I'd really encourage everyone to take the first step and reach out.
Just get stuck into it, the first few sessions can be difficult but once you get over the initial hump (especially if you're starting from never working out before) working out becomes really therapeutic.

How did you feel before you started your fitness journey?
I was feeling okay, I sometimes struggled with body positivity and confidence.
How do you feel now? Has that feeling changed?
I have embraced my body and my curves - I feel strong, confident and empowered.
Why did you choose GBPT as your coach?
After my first Zumba class with Georgia I was impressed with her positive mindset, motivational skills and coaching style.
What was your personal training experience like?
Georgia helped me to develop body confidence and taught me to embrace any flaws. I feel comfortable working out around people and feel confident that I know how to use gym equipment correctly and perform exercises with the correct technique.
Georgia knows how to provide a professional relationship through a friendly approach. I didn't feel judged even when I didn't follow my nutritional schedule; Georgia taught me to not take it too hard - it’s only human to make mistakes, the important thing is to get up and try again.
How has your life changed by doing Personal Training?
I feel more confident at the gym and have a better relationship with food and my mirror! Also, I feel more confident and positive towards my body, and I learned that sometimes it’s okay to let go of control and allow myself to have some fun (and cake)!

You could not have found a better person to guide you through this journey.
